He aha te mea nui o te ao?

He tangata, he tangata, he tangata.

What is the most important thing in the world?

It is people, it is people, it is people.

At Wellington Functions, we don’t just run venues — we host with heart. Every event, every plate, every kōrero is guided by the value of Manaaki — to uplift, to care, and to show genuine hospitality.

Whether you're a guest or part of our crew, you're whānau here. We serve with warmth, integrity, and aroha — because how we look after people matters.

From the way we welcome you in, to the food on your table and the way we support our kaimahi, everything we do is grounded in Manaakitanga – respect, kindness, and doing right by others.

Our kaupapa

Māoritanga -
Māori Culture

We use Te Reo Māori, tikanga (rules and customs), and kawa (how it’s done) as set by our company. We ensure that our operations showcase Māori culture and serve as a significant attraction for Wellington and its visitors.

06

Rangatiratanga -
Leadership

We aim to incorporate this value in our everyday workplace, ensuring that leadership is demonstrated through collective action and support.
