The Cable Room

Located on the ground floor of Harbourside Function Centre (Level -1 via the lift), The Cable Room offers a private event space with warm timber flooring, exposed brick detailing and large windows that fill the room with natural light. As the only function space on this level, it provides a sense of exclusivity, making it ideal for conferences, presentations, trade shows, networking events and private functions.

Featuring high ceilings and an open, pillar-free layout, The Cable Room is designed to adapt to a range of event styles. Located on Level One of Harbourside Function Centre, the Waterfront & Te Aro Room combines two adjoining event spaces to create Harbourside's largest and most versatile venue. The soundproof acoustic divide between the Waterfront Room and Te Aro Room can be opened to form one expansive space, ideal for large conferences, gala dinners, exhibitions, awards evenings and corporate events.

Designed for scale and flexibility, the combined room offers exclusive use of Level One, allowing guests to move seamlessly between presentations, catering, networking and social functions. Te Aro Room

Located on Level One of Harbourside Function Centre, the Te Aro Room is one of Wellington's premier waterfront event spaces, ideal for corporate functions, conferences, gala dinners, exhibitions and private celebrations. This spacious 260m² venue combines contemporary event facilities with the industrial character of the historic Shed 22 building, featuring exposed brick walls, soaring 5.2-metre stud ceilings and a striking glass roof that fills the room with natural light throughout the day.

Designed for flexibility, the Te Aro Room can be configured for theatre-style presentations, banquet dining, cocktail receptions, networking events and exhibitions. The spacious layout allows organisers to tailor the room to suit everything from conferences and awards evenings to elegant dinners and large social occasions, creating a memorable experience for every guest.
