Public Trust Hall is one of Wellington’s most distinguished heritage event venues. Originally completed in 1908 as the principal banking chamber for the Public Trust, the building combines grand Edwardian Baroque architecture with the facilities of a modern function space.
Following an extensive restoration, the hall’s soaring ceilings, ornate detailing, sweeping arches and original craftsmanship have been carefully preserved. The result is an impressive setting with plenty of character for conferences, gala dinners, awards evenings, weddings and corporate events.
The open-plan hall offers a flexible layout that can be configured for intimate gatherings or large-scale celebrations. Modern audiovisual technology, air conditioning, accessible facilities, bar facilities and in-house catering provide everything needed to deliver a seamless event.
Located at 131–135 Lambton Quay, on the corner of Lambton Quay and Stout Street, Public Trust Hall is within walking distance of Parliament, Wellington Railway Station, nearby hotels and public transport.
